Plain and simple, skateboarding is so corporate that there is a big possibility the said "Team Manager" you supposedly sent your tape too doesn't skate. Or, if he does skate, he can hardly ollie up a curb. It used to infuriate me. How can one know what talent is, if he has no understanding of what it takes to make a trick?
Well, let me introduce you to Fallen Footwear TM, Ian Berry. He's helped make G Spot what is is today, has been Chris Cole's right hand man since the gate, and has helped pushed other notables like Tommy Asta and Kyle Frederick. Not to mention, he looks out for pros like Billy Marks and Josh Harmony's best interests as well. So he's legit.
He films it, manages it, skates it, flows it, bondos it, eats it, makes it, and breaks it. Jaime Thomas don't pick no scrubs to work for Blackbox.
