To say John's part was boring, your dumb. John, has varitey of things. All Spencer does is skate manuel pads and home made flatledges, and jumps down a few things. A few of the tricks are questionable too, even the way he lands tricks is questionable, land bolts son, not with your heal touching.. Spencer skates slow too. But in the end it is comparing apples to oranges. Clayton is solid like an apple and Brown is soft like an orange.

Just watch the first clip in each of their parts. Mr. Brown skates a homemade spot. Mr. Clayton skates a street spot. Mr. Brown skates 12 homemade spots in his part, Mr. Clayton skates 0 homemade spots. I agree that Mr. Brown has Clayton beat out on the tech side of skateboarding, but you cannot beat out pure raw street skating, with power. Both of these guys got skills, but in my books Clayton got the win. Kid doesn't dress like a hip-hop kook either, unless your name is Biebel leave your XXXL shirts at home.

Spencer Brown your bag of tricks is impressive to say the least and your style is easy and effortless. But Clayton has tricks (though not as tech), plus style and something else that in my opinion was the deciding factor: POWER. The only way a video part can have power is if you skate something bigger than a foot and half tall. My vote goes to John Clayton. Damn, this was hard! Will they always be such different type skaters?

like aaron the outsider said, john's skating is predictable. he's got some good tricks, but it's nothing people haven't already seen done at similar spots around the world. spencer, on the other hand, is on a whole other level doing stuff most pros aren't capable of. john's skating is definitely worth watching, but in regards to the progression of skateboarding, who do you think is doing new stuff and continually pushing skateboarding to the limit? without a doubt, spencer brown.
