Well, I know you are on the Its Official premiere tour at the moment. What kind of feedback have you been getting from the viewing of your new fresh off the rack video part?
The feedback has been really good. People have been saying they didn't expect it to be this good.
Thats two parts already for 2006. Anymore video parts in the works?
We are going to start filming for a DGK video. LRG is going to put out a video too, so I need to finish my part for that.
So we all know that you have murdered the Gold Rail. Not too long ago we went up there to film a couple tricks and you did the Kayo ender 3rd try. I couldnt believe it. What goes through your head when you lay down the hammers on that thing?
To put it down as fast as you can cause you never know how much time youre going to get. I hate getting kicked out when I'm almost about to land a trick.
Yeah, its horrible when that happens. What is your worst experience at Gold Rail?
Honestly, I dont think I've had a bad experience there. Ill always remember trying the nollie noseblunt in the middle of January, freezing cold and skating by myself, and it was taking me a long time to get into it. Security guard gave us 5 minutes; I still hadn't done it when he was walking back to us to kick us out. I put it down but it was pretty sketchy right in front of him. That was probably the worst session I had there but it turned out alright in the end cause I got the trick and it was a 411 opener.
Who do you predict to be the next Washington D.C. prodigy to make it?
Daniel Kim.
So I know you rode for Lakai for a little and then jumped over to DC for a while. What made you switch over to Reebok?
I wanted to go pro but DC wanted me to stay am, so we parted ways knowing that the Reebok deal was waiting for me. A lot of potential and opportunities skating for Reebok.
Is The Curtin pro model shoe coming out anytime soon?
Definitely not in 2006, but hopefully soon.
Since we are on the pro topic, how has being pro changed your life? The ladies come screaming for Jackson?
I've been way more busy traveling and filming as a pro. And the money is nice. So with money comes girls and confidence. Know what I'm sayin?

So, any weird traveling stories to tell? Any times you were left behind by the crew at the airport?
Man I got stories for days. Making an international flight in Barcelona when I arrived at the airport like 15 minutes before a flight left, sitting bitch on the plane and puking in dude's coffee cup next to me and the little baggy cause I'm still drunk and fucked up, having to de-board the plane and getting left at the airport all day cause everyone made the standby list except me... getting caught by customs trying to bring weed into Sweden, man. The more traveling I do, the more crazy situations I get myself into.
The last couple years you have been all over the place. How does life differ for you from the East Coast to the West Coast?
Wow, its hard to say. I guess on the West Coast I feel I have more Freedom. Its more laid back and I'm more about the business side of things. The East Coast is home so it is comfortable and nice to come back to, but youve got to watch your back a lot harder skating in D.C. than anywhere else.
What are your plans for the rest of 2006?
Possibly a movie production with MTV, some chill time back east, a trip to Barcelona this summer and then figure it out from there.
What advice do you have for the kids out there?
My advice is to follow your heart. Don't follow trends cause everyone else is doing it. Skate and live how you feel most comfortable. Give thanks for the blessings you have, respect one another and check out the KAYO VIDEO!
Aight, I guess thats about it. Any shout outs?
Shout outs to all my peeps on the East Coast and West Coast. Pulaski crew, Bradley Rosado, my sponsors, my family and DGK all DAY. Lets go!
