All right Danny, let's start this off with what your daily operation is. Like from when you get up til you pass out.
I usually wake up, have some coffee, a cigarette, go to the beach, loosen up the old bones, and make some phone calls to try to link up with some people to go skateboard. I do that for a while, then have some beers with some pals and call it a day.
How's Miami treating Danny Dirt?
I'd have to say very well since I'm from Florida, except for that it gets hot as shit in the summer. But this time of the year there's no better place to be.
What's it like having Jason Lee as a boss?
I've only met him a couple of times. When I first got on the team, all of us went out golfing and the dude had me crackin' up the whole time. I can't golf for shit, but we all had fun together.
What's this I hear about a Stereo TV show coming out on Fuel?
It's supposed to be a mixture of skits of all the Stereo heads and of course a bunch of skateboard footage. I'm not sure when it's actually supposed to start airing though.
Word on the street is you got a part in Static 3. How's that coming along?
Yes, this is true. It's coming along well; I've been filming for a year now. Should be a pretty cool flick. The video, it's going to have a Tony Manfre part in it, and filming with Josh Stewart is always fun.
Why is it you prefer skating and living on the East Coast more then the West Coast?
Well, being from here, it's close to home and everybody I like to skate with is on the East Coast anyway. I just like the way the spots look a lot more.
What's one of the most fucked up stories you can tell me you've seen happen on South Beach?
Too many to tell and they are all confidential. I wouldn't want to expose any of my friends or something stupid.
Some people have never heard about The Dirts. Can you explain whom and/or what it is all about?
"The Dirts", what the hell is that? A band or a fraternity or something?
I'm not in a club, but I think a Dirt is pretty much a dirty kid.
Who's your favorite skater?
Phil Ladjanski, Jake Rupp, Dango, Rubble Man, and Choppy Omega.
If you couldn't skate, what would you do?
If I couldn't skateboard for a living
I have no idea. Maybe I'd join the circus? I'd have to come up with some kind of act though. Dive in a glass of water, perhaps?
Trick: Hurricane Grind

How about if you couldn't drink, what would you do?
Water ski, or, I don't know
sniff glue. Huff paint. Gamble, maybe.
Speaking of drinking, what would you say is your poison of choice?
Rubbing alcohol mixed with a cap full of cat piss. Or, a Heini maybe.
Why don't you have a cell phone? Do you know how much of a pain in the ass that is for others trying to get a hold of you?
It's cause I don't want everybody to be able to get in touch with me.But it is a pain in the ass sometimes when you want to make a phone call though.
How's your pet Dango?
I think he may have worms and fleas right now, but I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow.
What's this obsession I hear you have about hot sauce?
Yeah, but it's got to be the Cristal hot sauce. For a while, I couldn't find it in any grocery stores since it's from Louisiana. I thought maybe Katrina had wiped out the factories where they make that shit. But I'm relieved to see it's back on the shelves.
What city is your favorite place to skate, and what one is your favorite place to chill?
NYC all the way! There are so many crusty spots to be found. You could walk around NYC your entire life and never end up walking down every single street. To chill, I'd have to say Tampa. It's the epitome of The Dirty South.
How much longer do you see yourself ripping?
As long as I can, of course.
Any plans for after skateboarding?
Live the rest of my life, stay out of trouble, and somehow strike it rich. But I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Then build a house in Costa Rica out of bamboo and beer cans.
Shout outs and sponsors?
Stereo Skateboards, I-Path Shoes, Domestics Clothing, Satori Wheels, and Venture Trucks. I'd like to thank anybody that has ever helped me out.
