Established July of 2005, The Finest boasts a welcoming friendly atmosphere not otherwise experienced in other shops. Owners Tommie & Jessica Zam exemplify the importance of customer service and acceptance of their young customers.
The Finest is a neighborhood skateshop situated between St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg.
ItÂ’s a rest stop for kids on their way to and from local spots. It's a place to chill, catch up on some skate videos and grab a slice of pizza from the pizza shop next door. Kids come by to chat with Tommie and gain knowledge from his many years of being a skater, foremost, and his experiences as a sales rep.
The Finest focuses on selling only core products, to attract the needs of skaters, not mall kids that just want jump on the latest trend.
The Finest carries 34 skateboard companies at all times along with hundreds of other hardgoods items. The shoe wall contains only companies that have exclusive or core lines designed for independent shops. Tommie understands the importance of promotion and enjoys putting on events such as contests, hosting pro-teams, and video premieres.
